Tanga Graphite Project is featured in a peer-reviewed publication

Team Sakariya is happy to share that our Tanga Graphite Project has been featured in a peer-reviewed publication in Ore and Energy Resource Geology.
The paper, titled “Discovery of the world class Maramba–Tanga Graphite deposit, NE Tanzania, Africa”, documents the exploration journey carried out in the Tanga Graphite Block by the Sakariya Mines & Minerals team.
From early-stage desktop studies and regional targeting to geological mapping, sampling, drilling, metallurgical test work, and Mineral Resource Estimation, the project reflects a systematic and technically driven exploration approach.

Key highlights from the publication include:

  • Recognition of the Maramba–Tanga Graphite deposit as a major greenfield graphite discovery in northern Tanzania
  • Systematic geological mapping of extensive graphitic schist horizons
  • Approximately 9,635 m of diamond drilling across about 100 boreholes
  • A JORC-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate of 183 Mt @ 4.86% TGC
  • 148 Mt @ 4.94% TGC in the Indicated category
  • 35 Mt @ 4.52% TGC in the Inferred category
  • Final concentrate grades exceeding 97% total carbon with recoveries generally above 89%
  • Mineral Resource Estimate work supported and signed off by AMC Consultants
